UK Symphony Orchestra and the Lexington Singers

Join the University of Kentucky Symphony Orchestra, Lexington Singers, Lexington Singers Children's Chorus, and the University of Kentucky Chorale, under the batons of John Nardolillo and Jefferson Johnson as they present Carl Orff's epic masterwork Carmina Burana.

John Nardolillo
UK Symphony Orchestra conductor John Nardolillo has appeared with more than 20 of the country’s leading orchestras, including the National, Seattle, San Francisco, Detroit, and Atlanta Symphonies, among others. He has also conducted concerts at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC, at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia, and at Carnegie Hall in New York.

Jefferson Johnson
Jefferson Johnson is Director of Choral Activities at the University of Kentucky where he conducts the University Chorale, UK Choristers, and Men's Chorus. He teaches advanced choral conducting, choral methods and literature, and directs the graduate program (MM and DMA degrees) in choral music. A native of Atlanta,  Johnson was also a member of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chorus and Chamber Chorus conducted by Robert Shaw.
