Hal Holbrook in "Mark Twain Tonight!"

SPECIAL NOTICE: Hal Holbrook's scheduled April 30 performance of "Mark Twain Tonight" at the EKU Center for the Arts has been postponed due to medical reasons. The new show date is Saturday, May 21. The Center was informed by Mr. Holbrook's representatives the 91-year-old actor is suffering from a minor illness and is hoping to recover prior to taking the stage. Tickets already purchased for the performance will still be valid at the new performance time. The Center will accept requests for refunds to the event if patrons are unable to attend the new performance date.

Hal Holbrook’s Tony Award-winning characterization of Mark Twain is a must-see treasure of American theater. Holbrook premiered Mark Twain Tonight! on Broadway when he was 41. Now celebrating his 91st birthday season, he keeps the performance topical by selecting passages from Twain’s works relevant to today’s current events and continuing to amaze audiences with their relevancy today.
