Today the EKU Center announces its 2018/19 Broadway Series. The five-show series features national touring Broadway productions as well as a perennial holiday favorite.

"The EKU Center's new Broadway Series offers something for everyone," said EKU Center Executive Director Skip Daugherty. "This season 'Adventure Awaits' with five extraordinary musical theater productions, including two Broadway hits written by the amazing duo Rodgers and Hammerstein."

"There's no better place to experience the thrill of Broadway than the EKU Center. Our state-of-the-art 2,000-seat venue boasts outstanding acoustics, unobstructed sight lines, ample parking, and all the amenities of a world-class performing arts center," Daugherty continued.

Broadway Series packages go on sale to the public on Monday, July 9 at 10 AM. Subscribers can save up to 20% off single ticket prices by ordering a 5-show Broadway package for as low as $137. Patrons may also order 4 Broadway shows to receive 15% off, or 3 Broadway shows for 10% off. Packages can be purchased in person at the EKU Center box office or by phone at 859-622-7469.

A Christmas Carol

Monty Python's Spamalot

With a book by Eric Idle and music and lyrics by the Grammy-winning team of Mr. Idle and John Du Prez, Spamalot tells the tale of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table as they embark on their quest for the Holy Grail. The Sound of Music

The hills are alive! A brand new production of The Sound of Music is coming to the EKU Center. The beloved musical story of Maria and the von Trapp Family will once again thrill audiences with its Tony, Grammy, and Academy Award winning Best Score, including “My Favorite Things,” “Edelweiss,” and the title song. The Sound of Music enjoyed extraordinary success as a live television production when “The Sound of Music Live!” aired on NBC in December 2013 and was seen by over 44 million people. 2015 marked the 50th anniversary of the film version, which continues to be the most successful movie musical in history.

Single tickets to all Broadway Series shows will go on sale to the public on Saturday, September 8 at 10 AM. Friends of the Center may purchase single tickets a week earlier starting on Saturday, September 1 at 10 AM.
